Do you have sites for real estate agents or real estate
brokers?
Our sites for real estate agents or brokers are virtually the same as sites
for non-agents. We change the obvious references to comments such as
"We are not agents" etc. and by default we add a disclaimer at the bottom
of each page (near the copyright information) that states your status as a
licensed professional. This should satisfy most state regulatory agencies,
but it is the web site owner responsibility to verify this. We will
customize the site in virtually any way you like so that you are compliant.We
can also add special features for agents. For example, as an agent you
may want a form to allow people to request a free home valuation etc.
Since customizations are included at no additional charge, you just have to
ask.
When someone
uses my web site to send me an "Ask an Expert" question, who will answer the
question?
You would be surprised at how simple most questions to "Ask an Expert" actually
are. At least the questions will be easy for you as a real estate professional.

Is graphic
design included in your prices?
We are able to keep our prices low by starting with the

developed. Because of this, graphic design is not included in our

How long will it take to get my web site online?
It depends on how complex your site is and how quickly we can procure the
necessary information from you. Typically, you can expect your web site to
be ready for business within 48 to 72 hours. Depending on complexity and the
number of changes and modifications that you request, it can take longer.
How
do I get traffic to my web site?
We recommend a combination of print advertising such as classifieds and
postcards, online advertising such as pay-per-click search engine placement,
and word of mouth. We will submit your web site to search engines and web
directories including Google and we will send all Gold Plan customers a copy
of our Four Point Internet Marketing Program. Other providers may leave you
on your own or charge extra for this service.
Can I keep my current email address?
Yes. We offer email forwarding services and will automatically forward
any mail from your web site to your existing email address.
Can I send
unsolicited mail using my InvestorPro.com account?
NO! We take
a "zero tolerance" stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, commonly
known as spam. Using our server to send spam or advertising your InvestorPro.com
site in spam sent by any other server will get your account terminated immediately,
without notice, without refunds and without apologies.
How do I know if
the message I am sending is spam?
Not sure whether your email is spam? Make sure you follow the rules
outlined in the federal law against SPAM. It is called the CAN-SPAM

Our web site technicians take the burden of modifying your site off your hands

Do you
charge me for changes on my web site?
It is our policy to not charge customers for minor changes to their
web sites. In fact, it is VERY RARE that we charge an investor for web
site changes. We will modify text, navigation buttons, add pages, remove
pages. add downloadable documents etc. without charge (within reason). We
do charge for major changes or for changes that are going to be very time
consuming. We will always ask you first before making changes that would
require any additional fees.
Do I need to know any programming languages or need any special software installed
on my computer?
Absolutely not. We do all of the work for you and all you need is a
normal Internet browser so that you can see your site on the web and obtain
access to your Back Office Pro.

What will my web site's address be and what if I already
have a web address?
Your web site address will be determined by the domain(s) that you choose
(Example: www.YourName.com). Although we do have
a handful of real estate related domains
that you may use with your new web site, we highly recommend that you purchase
your own domain.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is a sequence of letters and numbers which determine the address
of your site. This site's domain name is "InvestorPro.com." You need to register
a domain name before your web site becomes accessible at this address.
How do
I choose a domain name?
Lynn's two rules for choosing a domain are 1) Make it easy to spell and
2) Make it easy to remember. If a potential buyer or seller can easily
remember your domain then they are more likely to visit your site and more
likely to refer your site to friends. Of course, if your domain is hard
to spell then you can expect that some users will just give up when they can't
get it right. A shorter name is ideal and will make it easier to include
your domain in classified ads and other printing, but don't forsake rule number

Can I use

you, legally register the domain in their own name. This means that if you
try switching web site services you will not be able to keep the domain.
We don't believe in this unethical practice and that is one of the reasons
we don't include a domain name in our pricing. A domain is your identity
online. It separates you from everyone else - once yours, as long as you keep
renewing it, no one else can take it.
You can purchase your own domain for less than $10 per year and you will
own it outright. When you own your domain name outright you retain all
rights to the domain should you choose to do something different with your
